YEncEncoder.EncodeToStream Method

To write a single part yEnc file into a existing stream use the EncodeToStream function.

EncodeToStream(
   source as FolderItem,
   destination as IBinaryStreamWriter) as Boolean

Parameters

source
The file to encode into a yEnc file.
destination
The destination stream to write to.

Returns

Boolean

Remarks

Returns True if it was successful, false if not. Use the LastError property to determine which error occured.

Always create a new instance of the YEncEncoder class for each file to encode.

Possible errors that this function can generate:
0 No Error.

  • -1001 Source file was nil.
  • -1002 Could not open source file.
  • -1803 Destination stream was nil.
  • -10100 Unknown internal error.
